Baghdad: The Iraqi national team is set to embark on a crucial journey to Mexico on the 17th of this month for their World Cup qualifying playoff match.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the team will gather in Amman, Jordan, at the end of next week before heading to Mexico. The Iraqi team is set to face the winner of the Bolivia-Suriname match, which is tentatively scheduled for March 31st in Monterrey, Mexico.
