Basra: The Basra Traffic Directorate has taken proactive measures by deploying patrols from the Al-Haritha traffic division at the 40-kilometer mark. This initiative aims to secure the highway as citizens embark on their journey to the sacred cities of Najaf and Karbala to honor the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the directorate has emphasized the importance of adhering to the speed limit and maintaining vigilance on the road.
