Najaf: The first regiment of Diwaniyah police has been deployed to the Najaf Governorate to ensure the safety of visitors at the shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Diwaniyah Police announced that the First Emergency Regiment has been dispatched to Najaf as a measure to secure the pilgrims visiting the sacred site. This move is part of a larger strategy involving cooperation and coordination among police commands across various governorates. The aim is to ensure a safe environment for pilgrims by providing necessary protection throughout their pilgrimage, which includes deploying detachments and executing field duties on multiple routes.

Their presence is expected to bolster security efforts, which are crucial for protecting pilgrims and organizing their movement during this significant religious occasion.
