Karbala: A suspect was arrested in Karbala in possession of drugs and weapons. Karbala police detachments apprehended the individual, finding narcotics, weapons, and tools used in theft in his possession.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a police statement confirmed the arrest, which followed meticulous field surveillance and intensive intelligence efforts. Seized items included narcotics pills, firearms, bladed weapons, and equipment suspected of being used in carrying out thefts.

The statement further mentioned that the suspect’s initial statement was recorded, and legal procedures were initiated to prepare for referring him to the judiciary.
