Karbala: An international drug dealer was arrested in Karbala. Security forces successfully apprehended the trafficker, who was found in possession of 50,000 Captagon pills.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Directorate of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control revealed in a press release that the trafficker was transporting the pills from a neighboring country to Iraq. The pills were intended for distribution across several provinces. The arrest in Karbala followed a successful intelligence operation, which was initiated based on a confession from another suspect.
