Makhmur: The Ministry of Defense announced the downing of four drones targeting army units in Makhmur, Nineveh Governorate, with no casualties.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry stated in a press release: “The Field Engineering Battalion of the 14th Infantry Division, under the Nineveh Operations Command, was attacked today, Thursday, by three suicide drones, followed by a fourth. Our forces dealt with them with high efficiency and downed them in the Makhmur district before they reached their targets.”

The statement added: “No casualties were recorded among our forces or civilians in the incident. The relevant authorities have begun taking the necessary measures and investigating the circumstances of the incident.”
