Commander-in-Chief’s Spokesperson Condemns Repeated Aggressions as Threat to Social Peace

Baghdad: The spokesperson for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Sabah al-Nu’man, has condemned the systematic and repeated aggressions as more than just military violations, describing them as attempts to undermine social peace in Iraq. Al-Nu’man emphasized that these actions are desperate attempts to disrupt the security and social harmony that Iraq has worked hard to achieve.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Nu’man made these remarks in a press release where he underscored the ongoing efforts by Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia’ al-Sudani, to monitor and evaluate the situation. The recent attacks on the Popular Mobilization Forces’ positions have resulted in the martyrdom of soldiers who were fulfilling their duties within various branches of the security forces.

Al-Nu’man reiterated the commitment to safeguarding the sacrifices of the martyrs, stating that the blood of Iraqi fighters is a sacred trust. He emphasized the resolve to prevent Iraq from becoming a battleground for settling disputes or compromising its national dignity.
