Baghdad: Oil Minister Basim Mohammed Khudair Al-Abadi affirmed on Sunday the continued cooperation among participating countries at the OPEC meeting, in line with the goals of achieving stability in oil markets. The ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): that “Oil Minister Basim Mohammed Khudair Al-Abadi participated in a meeting of countries participating in the voluntary production cuts within the OPEC+ alliance via video conference, where participants discussed the latest developments in the oil market and coordination mechanisms among member states.”

According to Iraqi News Agency, the meeting affirmed “the continuation of cooperation among participating countries in line with the goals of achieving stability in oil markets. The Director General of the State Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) and Iraq’s Permanent Representative to OPEC also attended the meeting.”
