North Korea Tests Cruise Missiles from a New Destroyer

Pyongyang: North Korean leader Kim Jong Un oversaw combat system tests of the destroyer Kang Kon, including the launch of a strategic cruise missile, according to the Korean Central News Agency.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the tests also included naval artillery, electronic warfare systems, target detection capabilities, and fire control, aimed at verifying the ship's combat readiness.

Kim asserted that the results bolster confidence in the development of his country's naval capabilities and directed that the tests be completed and the destroyer commissioned within two months.
