Basra: Hundreds of tons of expired imported meat were seized while attempting to bring it into the country. The Federal Intelligence and Investigations Agency announced the seizure as the meat was being smuggled into the country.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the agency stated in a press release that its detachments in the Licensing and Technical Control Department seized the expired meat at a border crossing in Basra Governorate.
