Muthanna: The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the High Commission for Human Rights, has initiated discussions on promoting human rights culture within educational institutions. This dialogue took place during a joint workshop hosted by the Muthanna Directorate of Education at the Saad Khudair Al-Rishawi Hall. The event was attended by the Assistant Director General for Technical Affairs, Saad Kadhim Jassim, specialist supervisor Ghosoun Hassan Aboud, the head of the Human Rights Division, and several staff members.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the workshop featured a presentation by the representative of the High Commission/Muthanna Office, who elaborated on the basic concepts of human rights, their legal foundations, and mechanisms for their implementation within educational settings. Participants engaged in discussions about the key challenges in spreading human rights awareness and shared visions and proposals to strengthen its presence in educational institutions, aligning with the Iraqi Constitution and applicable legal frameworks.
