Nineveh: Nineveh Governor Abdul Qadir al-Dakhil announced that the province is taking rapid steps to address stalled projects and accelerate reconstruction efforts, coinciding with the launch of reconstruction work in liberated areas, in line with the government program and plans to improve basic services for citizens.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Dakhil stated, "Nineveh Governorate has submitted a comprehensive file of stalled ministerial projects to the committee established by Diwani Order (260731), which was reconstituted at the direction of the Prime Minister. This file aims to monitor their implementation and remove the technical and administrative obstacles hindering their completion. He directed the directors of government departments to fully cooperate with the committee to expedite project completion and implement the government program."
Al-Dakhil added that the committee is responsible for monitoring projects in the provinces, conducting necessary technical evaluations, identifying challenges facing project implementation, and working to improve the level of services provided to citizens.
He further explained that the governorate has begun implementing a plan to rebuild liberated areas by completing infrastructure and basic services projects, including roads, water and sewage networks, and service institutions. Al-Dakhil emphasized that the current phase focuses on completing priority projects and restoring normalcy to areas damaged in recent years.
