Baghdad: Speaker of Parliament Haibat al-Halbousi received an official invitation to visit Turkey. A statement from his office indicated that al-Halbousi met today, Sunday, with the Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, Anil Bora Inan. The meeting addressed bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation in various fields, in order to achieve the common interests of both countries.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Speaker of Parliament also received an official invitation from the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmus, to visit the Republic of Turkey and meet with its officials.
