Mosul: New hospitals have been inaugurated, and the foundation stone for Tal Abtah Hospital has been laid in Nineveh. The head of the Reconstruction Committee for Improving the Health Sector and Rebuilding Hospitals and Health Centers, Engineer Azhar Al-Nuaimi, confirmed that Nineveh Governorate is progressing with its plan to enhance the health sector by opening new hospitals and health centers and expanding medical services.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Nuaimi stated that the projects include the foundation stone laying for a 30-bed hospital in the Tal Abtah sub-district of the Rabi’a district. Additionally, Al-Khansaa Hospital has been opened, and new departments have been established in Al-Salam and Ibn Al-Atheer Hospitals in Mosul, which will bolster capacity and improve the level of health services provided to citizens.

He elaborated that these projects are part of a continuous plan to rebuild hospitals and health centers across the governorate. The aim is to offer improved medical services and meet the needs of citizens in Mosul city and its surrounding districts and sub-districts.
