Baghdad: President Nizar Amidi affirmed on Tuesday that completing the resolution of the Yazidi issue represents a national entitlement that embodies the state's commitment to providing justice to those affected. The Presidential Media Office stated in a press release: "Today, at the Peace Palace in Baghdad, President Amidi received a delegation of representatives and officials from the Yazidi community."
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the President emphasized that resolving the Yazidi issue is a national imperative that embodies the state's commitment to providing justice for the victims. He stressed that this requires the concerted efforts of all relevant parties to fulfill the remaining requirements of this file.
He added that achieving stability begins with providing justice for the victims, intensifying search and investigation efforts to determine the fate of the missing, creating suitable conditions for the return of Yazidi families to their areas, and ensuring a dignified life for them, thus guaranteeing their rights and dignity.
For their part, the members of the delegation expressed their gratitude and appreciation to His Excellency the President for his attention to the Yazidi issue and his keenness to follow up on their cases. They also expressed their appreciation for his support of efforts aimed at resolving this issue in a way that fulfills the aspirations of the Yazidi community.
