National Security Advisor Emphasizes Iraq’s Openness to Global Investment

Baghdad: National Security Advisor Qasim al-Aboudi affirmed that the al-Zaidi government supports openness to all countries to attract investments and improve the country's economy. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the National Security Advisory stated that al-Aboudi received the German Ambassador to Iraq, Daniel Krieber, and discussed joint security cooperation. During the meeting, al-Aboudi stressed the necessity of unifying the efforts of the international community to eliminate terrorism and extremist ideology. He noted that Iraq has made sacrifices in confronting the ISIS terrorist organization and fought on behalf of the world and the international community. Al-Aboudi explained that Iraq has taken bold steps, including receiving terrorist prisoners, and is committed to the constitution, which prohibits the use of its territory to attack any country. This commitment underscores Iraq's dedication to regional stability and peace, reinforcing its openness to international collaboration and invest ment. For his part, the German ambassador emphasized the importance of strengthening relations between the two countries and working together to combat terrorism and exchange information. He stated that Iraq plays a significant role in regional stability and that its efforts in calming tensions and promoting peace are appreciated.
