Babylon: Three mourners returning from the funeral procession for Ayatollah Ali Khamenei died in a traffic accident west of Hillah, the capital of Babylon Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Brigadier General Zaher Mohammed, Director of Media for Babylon Traffic Police, stated that a car carrying the three mourners overturned in the Abi Gharq area, resulting in their deaths.

He added that police transported the bodies to the forensic medicine department and have opened an investigation into the accident.
