Najaf: The funeral procession for the martyr Ali Khamenei has concluded in Najaf, in preparation for his transfer to the holy city of Karbala. The procession marked the final farewell to the martyred leader of the Iranian Islamic Revolution, with prayers being led by Grand Ayatollah Muhammad Taqi al-Hakim.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the body will be transported by helicopter to Karbala for a special ceremony at the shrine of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). This ceremony will be presided over by the legal custodian, Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai. After the ceremony, the body will return to Najaf International Airport for transport to Mashhad, where it will be laid to rest at the shrine of Imam Reza (peace be upon him).
