Asian Silver and Iraqi Record Broken by Runner Falah Hassan

Ordos: Golden runner Falah Hassan won the silver medal in the 100m race at the Asian Men's Under-23 Championships, which kicked off today in Ordos, China. He broke the Iraqi national record with a time of 10.21 seconds, securing the silver medal.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Falah finished second behind Malaysian runner Muhammad Azim, who won gold with a time of 10.17 seconds, and ahead of Salah Noor of Qatar, who finished third with a time of 10.23 seconds.

This achievement comes with the support of the President of the Olympic Committee, Dr. Aqeel Muftan, and the Executive Office, who placed their trust in the Iraqi delegation to compete for medals.

The Iraqi delegation suffered from travel fatigue to Ordos, as they traveled on four different flights to reach the competition. The journey began on Monday, the 6th of this month, and they arrived two days later. However, this did not weaken the determination of golden runner Falah Hassan, who opened his participation with an Asian silver medal and a new Iraqi record.
