Iraq and Italy Promote Entry of Reputable Companies for Service Projects

Baghdad: Baghdad Mayor Ammar Musa Kadhim and Italian Ambassador to Iraq Nicol² Fontana emphasized the importance of expanding the partnership between Baghdad and Rome and supporting the entry of reputable Italian companies to implement service projects. During their meeting on Sunday, the two sides discussed finalizing the procedures for signing a memorandum of understanding between the Baghdad Municipality and the Municipality of Rome, which will contribute to the exchange of expertise and strengthen institutional relations between the two capitals.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, they also reviewed prospects for enhancing joint cooperation in the areas of infrastructure, urban services, and investment. This collaboration aims to facilitate the involvement of Italian companies known for their expertise in delivering high-quality service projects, which is expected to benefit both cities significantly.
