Najaf: A demonstration took place in the Al-Majsarat Square in Najaf due to the deteriorating electricity supply. The demonstrators raised the Iraqi flag and chanted slogans demanding the replacement and accountability of department directors in the province.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the protests were triggered by the ongoing issues with the electricity supply that have been affecting the residents of Najaf. Protesters expressed their frustration with the lack of action from local authorities to address the power shortages and called for immediate improvements in the management of the electricity supply.

The demonstrators urged for accountability among the department directors responsible for the electricity supply in the province. Despite the peaceful nature of the protest, there was a strong demand for change, highlighting the growing discontent among the citizens regarding the issue.
