Baghdad: The General Assembly of Diyala Sports Club convened its electoral conference today, with the participation of assembly members and the presence of Rifat Aboud, a representative from the Iraqi National Olympic Committee, to elect a new administration for the club.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the election process was carried out in an atmosphere marked by transparency and adherence to legal protocols. Nine members were successfully elected to the club's administration, including Ahmed Rahim Al-Moussawi, Jassim Mohammed Taher Al-Rubaie, Firas Hamza Al-Zubaidi, Mohammed Abdul-Ridha Dawood, Ismail Abdullah Matroud, Majid Ibrahim Shaltagh, Suhaib Rifat Aboud, Ammar Yahya Samir, and Abdullah Abdul-Latif.
The newly elected administration promptly held its inaugural meeting to allocate administrative roles. Ahmed Rahim Al-Moussawi was chosen as the club president, with Jassim Mohammed Taher Al-Rubaie as vice president. Firas Hamza Al-Zubaidi was appointed as secretary, and Ismail Abdullah Matroud will serve as treasurer. The other members will contribute to the club's administration in various capacities.
