Baghdad: Kuwait has announced that it successfully contained five fires that erupted due to Iranian attacks on Saturday. The Kuwaiti General Fire Force reported that the fires included two at separate locations and three others within residential areas.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Fire Force spokesman Mohammed Bader Ibrahim stated that firefighting teams managed to control two fires at locations targeted in the “Iranian aggression.” Five firefighting teams, with support from oil sector teams, were involved in extinguishing the fire at the first site, while three teams handled the second location.

Ibrahim noted that renewed targeting of the first location during firefighting efforts led to injuries among several firefighters and an oil sector worker. The injured received first aid before being transported to the hospital, though specifics regarding the number or extent of injuries were not provided.

The spokesman confirmed that firefighting teams successfully controlled three additional fires resulting from falling shrapnel in residential areas. The statement highlighted that the damage from these fires was restricted to material losses, with no injuries reported.
