Baghdad: The death toll from the Israeli war on Gaza has reached 73,269, with 173,811 wounded, as the conflict continues to escalate since October 7, 2023. The figures reflect a devastating impact on the region, highlighting the severe human cost of the ongoing hostilities.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, medical sources in Gaza reported that local hospitals received 19 martyrs in the past 24 hours. This includes one individual who succumbed to previously sustained injuries and two whose bodies were recovered. Additionally, 60 individuals were wounded during this period. Since the ceasefire on October 11, the number of martyrs has increased to 1,144, with 3,703 wounded, while 802 bodies have been recovered.

Medical sources further explained that numerous victims remain trapped under rubble or in inaccessible areas, as ambulance and rescue teams face challenges reaching them. The ongoing situation underscores the urgent need for humanitarian access to provide much-needed aid and support to those affected by the conflict.
