Baghdad: The Ministry of Agriculture, through its Business Incubators Department in the Minister's Office and the Agricultural Investments Department/Entrepreneurship Unit, participated in a workshop titled "Agricultural Entrepreneurship: From Job Search to Job Creation." The event was organized in collaboration with the Agricultural Engineers Syndicate and the Al-Marabi Foundation for Sustainable Development.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the workshop aimed to foster a culture of entrepreneurship, highlight innovative agricultural projects, and their role in creating sustainable job opportunities, and introduce participants to mechanisms for incubating and developing entrepreneurial ideas. Lectures were delivered by Dr. Mohammed Khalid, Dr. Laith Ibrahim Al-Jubouri, and Engineer Nadia Yassin Al-Jubouri, who reviewed concepts of agricultural entrepreneurship, financing methods, and investment opportunities.
The workshop engaged attendees in extensive discussions and active participation, emphasizing the importance of innovation in empowering agricultural engineers to transition to job creation, thereby supporting the national economy and sustainable development.
