Baghdad: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Sunday that Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi will visit Iran at the end of this week and sign several memoranda of understanding in the field of joint cooperation.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry stated that the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Bilateral Relations, Mohammad Hussein Bahr Al-Uloom, met with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq, Mohammad Kazem Al-Sadeq, at the Ministry’s headquarters. During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between Iraq and Iran, and the agenda for the Prime Minister’s upcoming visit to Tehran.

The discussions also covered the ongoing preparations for the visit, which will include the signing of several memoranda of understanding that aim to enhance joint cooperation between the two nations. These agreements are expected to strengthen bilateral relations and promote the common interests of both countries.
