Baghdad: Deputy Oil Minister for Extraction Affairs, Nasir Aziz, met with Siemens Energy Iraq Managing Director Muhannad Al-Saffar on Sunday to discuss cooperation in oil, gas, and renewable energy projects, the Oil Ministry announced.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the meeting, also attended by Iraq Business Development Director Mohammed Issa Qasim, reviewed Siemens Energy’s current and planned projects in collaboration with the Oil Ministry. The discussions highlighted the latest technological developments that could be utilized in these sectors.

The two parties explored strategies to enhance joint cooperation in oil, gas, and renewable energy projects. Al-Saffar expressed Siemens Energy’s commitment to supporting the Ministry’s initiatives and contributing to the growth of Iraq’s oil and gas industry. He also emphasized the importance of expanding renewable energy efforts through the implementation of advanced technologies and specialized expertise.
