Baghdad: Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein discussed bilateral relations in a phone call with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araqchi. The conversation underscored the importance of diplomatic ties between the two neighboring countries.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release that the relationship between Iran and Iraq is deep-rooted and strategic, built on historical, cultural, and religious ties, alongside shared interests.
