Tehran: Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a warning against any potential incursion by the United States into Iranian territory. The IRGC emphasized its readiness to “eliminate any hostile act immediately upon its occurrence” to safeguard the country’s sovereignty.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Brigadier General Rouhollah Nouri, Deputy Commander of the IRGC Ground Forces, highlighted the high level of preparedness of the IRGC forces. He stated that the forces rely on the latest equipment and continuous training to maintain operational capabilities. Nouri asserted that the defense units are “at the highest levels of readiness” to respond to any threat.

Nouri further explained that the constant vigilance and readiness of the IRGC are crucial for ensuring Iran’s security. He emphasized that enhancing combat readiness is a priority across all operational sectors. The Deputy Commander outlined the importance of improving defense capabilities, specialized training, and developing operational infrastructure to confront potential threats effectively.

The IRGC has made advancements in utilizing modern weapons, advanced drones, and precision missiles, Nouri pointed out. This progress reflects the organization’s commitment to maintaining a strong defense posture.

In related remarks, US President Donald Trump mentioned that Washington has the capability to control Tehran completely but expressed that he does not wish to deploy ground troops.
