Baghdad: The Ministry of Education has announced the retention rates for students in distinguished and gifted schools, as well as Baghdad College high schools, for the academic year 2026-2027.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the General Directorate of Public, Private, and Foreign Education within the Ministry has specified that the retention rate for students in schools for gifted students and Baghdad College high schools is set at 75%. Meanwhile, the retention rate for students in schools designed for outstanding male and female students is set at 80%. These rates are determined based on the current regulations and instructions in place.
