Al-Muhammadawi Arrives in Karbala to Review Security and Service Plans for Arbaeen Pilgrimage

Baghdad: Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Mass Pilgrimages and Deputy Commander of the Joint Operations Command, Lieutenant General Qais Al-Muhammadawi, arrived in the holy city of Karbala on Tuesday to discuss the security and service preparations for the Arbaeen pilgrimage.

According to Iraqi News Agency, Al-Muhammadawi arrived in Karbala Province at the head of a high-level delegation. The statement from the Supreme Committee for Mass Pilgrimages highlighted his participation in a conference with governors and senior officials from the Middle Euphrates provinces and Baghdad.

The focus of the visit is to review the security and service plans for the pilgrimage, ensuring that all preparations have been completed to accommodate the pilgrims commemorating Arbaeen of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
