Baghdad: The Iraqi Meteorological Organization has released a forecast predicting clear skies and a rise in temperatures across the country in the coming days.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the organization stated that weather on Wednesday will be generally clear, with a slight increase in temperatures expected in the central and southern regions, while the northern region will experience stable temperatures. The detailed forecast for Wednesday shows that maximum temperatures will reach 42°C in Dohuk and Sulaymaniyah, 44°C in Anbar, 45°C in Erbil, and 46°C in Baghdad, Nineveh, Kirkuk, Karbala, Najaf, Diwaniyah, and Muthanna. The highest temperatures are expected in Diyala, Salah al-Din, Babylon, Wasit, Dhi Qar, and Basra at 47°C, with Maysan reaching 48°C.

The forecast further indicates that Thursday will maintain generally clear weather with some clouds in the eastern parts of the northern region, and temperatures will mirror those of the previous day. The organization also noted that Friday and Saturday will continue with clear skies and temperatures similar to those recorded earlier in the week.
