Baghdad: The electricity authority has dismissed the director of the Sadr City distribution branch and appointed a new replacement.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a document issued by the Ministry of Electricity revealed an administrative decision to relieve Yass Khader Farhoud of his duties as the director of the Sadr City electricity distribution branch within the Baghdad Electricity Distribution Company. The decision was made due to Farhoud’s failure to meet the stipulated job description requirements.

The document further detailed the termination of Musa Sultan Hajim’s responsibilities as director of the Projects Implementation Department at the company’s headquarters. Hajim has been assigned to manage the Sadr City electricity distribution branch in Farhoud’s place.

The newly assigned director will undergo a re-evaluation after three months. This assessment will be based on the approved job description regulations to determine his compliance with the requirements of the position.
