Baghdad: The Al-Hasm Alliance has firmly denied allegations that an arrest warrant has been issued against its leader, Thabet Al-Abbasi. The National Decisiveness Alliance addressed these claims on Monday, dismissing them as unfounded and misleading.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the alliance issued a statement refuting the reports, labeling them as false and part of a calculated effort to misinform and mislead public opinion. The statement emphasized that there is no truth to the rumors and that they are intended to distort facts.

The alliance expressed its unwavering support for the Iraqi judiciary and government, highlighting its commitment to accountability and the rule of law. The statement stressed that there should be no leniency towards individuals involved in corruption or misuse of public funds, irrespective of their rank or status.

Furthermore, the alliance declared its intention to pursue legal action against those responsible for propagating these claims, indicating that they will take appropriate measures in accordance with legal provisions.
