Al-mustansiriya university: Al-Mustansiriya University and the University of Mosul signed a comprehensive academic and strategic cooperation agreement to support institutional development and enhance joint academic work.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Mustansiriya University stated in a press release that the signing of this important agreement took place during the official visit of University President Safaa Taqi Al-Issawi to the University of Mosul. During the visit, he engaged in extensive meetings and discussions with the President of the University of Mosul, Waheed Al-Ibrahimi, to broaden the horizons of cooperation in various academic, research, and administrative fields.
The agreement includes launching joint programs focusing on the exchange of academic expertise and scientific resources between the two universities. It aims to initiate research projects addressing sustainable development requirements and establish scientific activities and specialized training programs to develop the efficiency of teaching and administrative staff. The agreement also involves adopting the latest global methods in the education sector.
Both universities affirmed that this initiative establishes an effective and sustainable partnership to enhance educational outcomes and create an advanced academic environment. This environment aims to keep pace with global developments and provide solutions that serve Iraqi society and meet its needs.
The visit concluded with a field tour by the President of Al-Mustansiriya University, which included several colleges, scientific centers, and laboratories affiliated with the University of Mosul. He was briefed on the modern infrastructure, advanced scientific capabilities, and key strategic projects implemented by the university to support and stimulate the educational and research environment.
