Baghdad: The Iranian army has announced the targeting of US military facilities at the Azraq base in Jordan and the Sheikh Isa base in Bahrain using drones.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Iranian army revealed in a press release that the US bases in the region were subjected to a series of drone attacks. The statement highlighted that the assaults at the Azraq base in Jordan specifically targeted housing buildings, facilities, and equipment depots associated with the US military.
The release further detailed that the Sheikh Isa base in Bahrain saw its heavy equipment depots and heavy aircraft maintenance hangars targeted by Arash suicide drones. This move is part of a larger campaign, as earlier the same day, Iran announced its armed forces had also targeted the central infrastructure of an Amazon data center in Bahrain, marking the 24th wave of Operation Nasr 2.
