Baghdad: The Minister of Education, Abdul Karim Abtan al-Jubouri, announced today the results of the general examinations for secondary school students in both the scientific and literary branches for the first semester of the 2025-2026 academic year. He highlighted that the announcement of the results is a significant achievement accomplished through the collaboration of the educational community and various supporting entities.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Minister expressed his gratitude for the ongoing support from Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi, who played an active role in overseeing the academic year and examination processes. The Minister also acknowledged the contributions of the National Center for Digital Transformation and other ministries and institutions involved in reaching this educational milestone.

During a press conference, the Minister revealed that 275 students in the scientific branch achieved a perfect score of 700. Additionally, 274 students scored 699, and three students scored 698. In the literary branch, three female students achieved a score of 684, one student scored 682, and two students scored 680.

The Minister praised the dedicated efforts of the ministry’s undersecretaries, the Permanent Committee for Public Examinations, the directors general, subcommittees, examination center administrations, examiners, and all educational, administrative, and technical staff in Baghdad, the provinces, and regional offices. Their diligent work ensured the successful completion of the examinations and the accurate announcement of the results.

Al-Jubouri also extended his congratulations to the top-performing students for their achievements. He expressed appreciation for the parents’ support throughout the academic year and wished all students continued success in their future academic endeavors.
