Baghdad: Speaker of Parliament, Haybat al-Halbousi, engaged in talks with the Ambassadors of France and Jordan to review bilateral relations and explore opportunities for expanding cooperation. Al-Halbousi hosted French Ambassador Patrick Durel, marking the conclusion of Durel’s tenure in Iraq, as communicated by the Speaker’s Media Office via a press release to the Iraqi News Agency INA.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the discussions with Ambassador Durel focused on assessing the current state of bilateral relations and identifying potential areas for enhanced collaboration. In another meeting, Al-Halbousi welcomed Maher Tarawneh, the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Iraq. The dialogue centered on strengthening ties between the two nations and addressing regional dynamics and shared interests.
