Baghdad: Iraqi government spokesman Haider al-Aboudi confirmed that the water issue is one of the most prominent files, alongside the Development Road project, and will be on the negotiating table during the Prime Minister's visit to Turkey before the end of this month.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, this statement came in response to a question from a correspondent during today's press conference regarding the government's vision for managing the water file with the Turkish side. The visit of Prime Minister Ali al-Zubaidi to Ankara is highly anticipated as it aims to address critical bilateral issues.

Al-Aboudi emphasized that the water issue, along with the Development Road project, will be key discussion points during the visit. He noted that there is positive cooperation between the Iraqi and Turkish sides, which is expected to benefit both countries significantly.
