Diyala: A young man in his twenties has been diagnosed with Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) in the agricultural area of Al-Bid’ah, located on the outskirts of the Kanaan district in Diyala province.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the confirmation came after laboratory results from Baghdad verified the presence of CCHF in the patient. The affected individual has been moved to a specialized ward to receive treatment from a dedicated medical team. Authorities have assured that all necessary preventive measures are being implemented by the central joint committee tasked with monitoring the spread of CCHF.
