Basra: The Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, visited the Basra Operations Command to review the overall security situation and assess the readiness of military units within their area of responsibility. He was accompanied by a high-level military delegation and was received by Deputy Aqeel al-Khalidi, the Basra Operations Commander, the Naval Force Commander, and staff officers.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, upon arrival, Lieutenant General Yarallah received a briefing on the nature of the security tasks, the level of combat readiness, the measures taken to enhance security and stability in the province, and the most prominent challenges facing operations.

The Chief of Staff emphasized the importance of maintaining the highest levels of readiness and vigilance and continuing to carry out security duties with high professionalism to ensure the continuity of security and stability and the protection of citizens and vital installations. He commended the efforts exerted by the military units in performing their duties.
