Baghdad: The Children’s Culture House concluded its summer courses today, under the slogan “We Learn… We Create… and We Discover Our Talents.” An official ceremony was held at the Magic Lantern Theater, attended by representatives from educational and cultural institutions, as well as the families of the participating children.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ceremony included the opening of an exhibition showcasing drawings, artwork, and handicrafts created by the children during the courses. A storytelling and proverb performance was also presented, along with a documentary film produced by the House’s Public Relations and Media Department, which highlighted the summer courses and their diverse activities.

The program continued with poetry recitations, a theatrical performance, and an English language presentation. The Director General of the House, Ismail Suleiman Hassan, stated in his address at the ceremony: “We meet today at the conclusion of a wonderful journey, one in which minds were enlightened, creativity shone, and promising talents were discovered, confirming that true investment begins in childhood.” The children’s enthusiasm and determination to learn reflect the importance of culture in building a conscious and creative generation.

For her part, leading media personality Nisreen George praised the center’s high-quality programs, emphasizing that the summer courses provide a safe and stimulating environment for discovering children’s creative potential and contribute to developing their skills and refining their personalities.

At the conclusion of the celebration, the Director General honored the participating children by distributing certificates of appreciation and gifts amidst an atmosphere filled with joy and pride in the children’s achievements.
