Baghdad: Iraq has expressed its unwavering solidarity with Algeria following the outbreak of fires in several Algerian provinces. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iraq announced its full support for Algeria on Thursday, underscoring the severity of the fires that have resulted in numerous casualties and injuries.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry released a statement conveying Iraq’s deepest condolences and sympathies to the government and people of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, as well as to the families of the victims. The statement further extended wishes for a swift recovery to the injured and safety for all Algerian citizens.

In its message, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed its support for Algeria during this challenging period, expressing confidence in the ability of Algeria’s state institutions to manage the aftermath of the disaster, alleviate its impacts, and restore normalcy to the affected regions.
