Baghdad: A ministerial order has been issued, leading to a change in leadership at the Supreme Maritime Authority. Ahmed Jassim has been relieved of his duties as the head of the organization, and Ali Abdul Latif has been appointed as his successor.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the decision was made by Minister of Transport Wahab al-Hassani. The ministerial order not only relieves Jassim of his responsibilities but also designates Latif as the acting head of the Higher Maritime Authority. This change is expected to bring new direction and leadership to the maritime sector.
