Baghdad: Mohammed al-Halbousi and Farhad Amin al-Atroushi have underscored the importance of collaboration among political blocs to address challenges and enhance national stability. The head of the Progress Party, al-Halbousi, and Deputy Speaker of Parliament, al-Atroushi, emphasized this during a recent meeting.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Progress Party revealed that al-Halbousi hosted Deputy Speaker al-Atroushi and a parliamentary delegation on Thursday to discuss the political climate. The discussions focused on the need to bolster the legislative and oversight functions of Parliament, support governmental anti-corruption efforts, and foster cooperation and coordination among political entities. These measures aim to address challenges effectively, thereby contributing to the country’s stability and advancing the supreme national interest.
