Sheikh Humam Hamoudi Pledges Reform Amid Iraq’s Ongoing Challenges

Baghdad: At a meeting of his alliance, Sheikh Humam Hamoudi declared, "We will not stand idly by. Our approach is reform and restoring the prestige of the state." Sheikh Hamoudi, head of the "Abshir Ya Iraq" (Good News, Iraq) Alliance, emphasized the pressing challenges Iraq faces, both from regional developments and internal crises. He asserted that addressing these issues is an unavoidable duty for all political leaders.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Sheikh Hamoudi chaired a meeting of the "Abshir Ya Iraq" parliamentary and local alliance, where he reiterated the alliance's commitment to reform as its foundational principle. He highlighted the alliance's dedication to supporting initiatives aimed at combating corruption and reinstating the rule of law. The alliance's credibility, he noted, stems from its commitment to these reforms.

Sheikh Hamoudi called upon members of both the parliamentary and local blocs to place national interests above personal gains. He urged them to engage closely with the populace, defend their rights, and back national efforts to enhance integrity and public trust. He pointed out the critical nature of the current period, which demands clear vision, transparency, and decisive actions.
