Najaf: Najaf International Airport successfully managed 165 flights, transporting over 35,000 passengers participating in the Arbaeen pilgrimage.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the airport administration provided detailed statistics indicating that from the 1st to the 7th of Safar, a total of 19,873 passengers arrived while 16,972 departed through the airport. This significant influx of pilgrims highlights the importance of Najaf as a key transit hub for those commemorating the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein.

The administration also announced that Flydubai will resume its operations to Najaf International Airport starting Saturday, offering seven flights per week. This development is expected to boost air traffic and offer more travel options for passengers traveling to and from Najaf, further supporting the airport’s role in facilitating international pilgrimages.
