Basra: A driver was rescued after being trapped inside his vehicle, which was loaded with gas cylinders, following a traffic accident in Basra. Civil Defense teams in the Shatt al-Arab district of Basra Governorate responded swiftly to the accident on the Shalamja road, successfully rescuing the driver from the precarious situation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Civil Defense Directorate issued a press release detailing the incident. The statement confirmed that the rescue teams utilized hydraulic cutting and separation equipment to extricate the driver from the vehicle. After the successful rescue operation, the driver was transported to the hospital for further medical attention.
