Erbil: The Counter-Terrorism Service in the Kurdistan Region announced the downing of five explosive-laden drones in Erbil.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Service released a statement detailing the incident. “Between 9:32 and 9:45 this morning, Coalition forces shot down five explosive-laden drones in the airspace of Erbil Governorate. The drones had been launched from the western part of the governorate,” the statement revealed.

The statement further clarified that the incident did not result in any casualties.
