Baghdad: More than 1,273,000 pilgrims have entered Iraq since the beginning of Muharram, according to the head of the Security Media Cell (SMC), Lieutenant General Saad Maan.
According to Iraqi News Agency, Maan confirmed on Saturday that the total number of pilgrims entering Iraq since the first of Muharram has reached 1,273,758. This influx is part of the religious pilgrimages, with entry facilitated through all border crossings. The process follows approved security and service plans and procedures to ensure a smooth flow of pilgrims into the country.
